Thanks to a donation by a member who retrieved them from the National Archives, written statements taken from some survivors shortly after the sinking of
HMS Royal Oak are available to the Association. If your relative
was a survivor and you would like a copy, please contact us.

To coincide with the 80th anniversary of the loss of HMS Royal Oak, a
detailed underwater survey was undertaken by a team of professional
divers under special licence from the Secretary of State for Defence.
